Essences > Dynamic Balance Range
The need for Dynamic Balance Essences is everywhere and in each one of us, for life is constantly changing and we have to cope with whatever comes along.
-
The name Dynamic Balance describes the way we live - if we live in harmony with ourselves and every aspect of our world
-
We respond to change and excitement, to challenges and to loss - and if we are flexible enough and self confident enough and we are able to leave the past behind us then we can live in a place of balance
-
The power of Dynamic Balance is the plants themselves - they inspired me, and they made it very clear that they wanted to be a part of the process of supporting and helping us
Purpose
My aim in creating this range of healing flower remedies was to address the problems, issues and concerns that people have shared with me either as friend or counsellor Over the years since opening my business, I have found that the same (or very similar) challenges are faced by us all. And, as a healer, a therapist and a generally nurturing person, I longed to be able to provide something to help.
My therapies and retreat are wonderful, but I wanted to be able to give people a little piece of Ashwhin peace and support to take home with them. And I wanted this something to be a catalyst - helping them change the attitudes and negative patterns that can hold us back. I wanted to enable my friends and clients to go forward more easily along the path they chose.
So what I created had to be the kind of tool that would help everyone. And, that is how flower essences came to mind. Flower remedies are gentle enough to be uses for babies and for wild animals, and birds. The actual amount of essence is so tiny that they are like homeopathy for the mind, emotions and spirit. Yet, when you find the right one for you, they can be a powerful force for transformation and positive growth.
How they were selected and combined
I can take very little responsibility for the flowers that were chosen for this range of essences. All I did was to open my mind to the wonderful wealth of wild flowers, herbs, shrubs and trees amount me -and it was as if I could hear a chorus of glad voices singing out to be included.
So, I took my list of 24 issues that I had found to be so often faced, and began to consider what characteristics a person might need to help them deal with that challenge. From the start I felt that I wanted to have all the essences made up of two flowers because that seemed to me to reflect the idea of a dynamic balance.
So each pair of plants in each essence complement and support each other. They work to heal old wounds of the heart and past, and to help you as you find dynamic balance for yourself.

 Beech & Violet
Access the loving nurturing parent inside and learn to be that person for yourself.
The blend of Beech and Violet flowers is one of the most soothing and supportive essences possible. The gentle strength of the two flowers creates a sense of safety, self worth, and self love deep inside you that can help you handle every hardship and attain any dream.
Every one of us needs to learn to parent ourselves. Why? Because no real parent cam always know how you are feeling, always be there and say the right thing - every moment of every day. But we can learn to be exactly what we need. Sometimes that will mean being utterly accepting and comforting, sometimes that will be having a good laugh at the sheer daftness of life.
Even the very best of parents are normally youngsters when they first have kids, and at the best they simply cannoy be in your head with you. But even the worst of parents have some saving graces, some strengths, something they can teach us - even if it is only what we do NOT want to become.
So give your parents the benefit of the doubt, have faith they did the best that they could - no matter how fire. And do it better yourself, Beech and Violet might help!

 Bistort & Oleria
Ability to recognise your own patterns of behaviour and to accept their consequences without guilt or blame
Bistort and Oleria can help you to learn and grow and move forward as a wiser and better person. The secret that they offer is to help you see yourself more clearly, but not get hooked into the blame game - and when we beat ourselves up this way we of course can't go forward!
This aspect of self aceptance can be a real challenge for us. The simple fact is that some of our ways of responding to the world are so deeply rooted or so intrinsically bound up with our personality that we can never change them completely.
For instance, I used to be very shy and frightened of authority figures as a child. And, whilst I am now much more outgoing and able to handle most situations easily and comfortably, I still fall back into a couple of patterns of behaviour if I am very tired, under immense stress or shock. In nonconfrontational situations I go quieter and quieter. In confrontational situations I can get very beligerant.
I know this about myself. Because I like the person I am as a whole, I have learned to smile at these reactions - but it took some years to develop this level of tolerance, self love and perspective.
The Essences of Bistort and Olearia should be able to help you get there quicker.

Blue-eyed Grass & Dwarf Red Rattle
Give you a sense of safety and excitement, contentment and joy that is trust in the Universe, trust in Life
Both of these two lovely little flowers will put you in touch with the happy child inside you. This will fill you with the resilience to face life smiling, and the good humour and and bubbly energy to bring you ease and comfort.
Somewhere deep inside us, and often completely forgotten, is the wild child part of us. By Wild Child, I do not mean unsociable or difficult - I mean wild in the sense of free range. Bare footed child, running in the fields, climbing trees, chasing butterflies only to let them go.
There is in the heart of each of us the capacity for fun, for a gentle timeless ease that is this child alive and still very much with us.
We still have a great deal to learn from this inquisitive happy person, for there is much wonder in this world of ours, even if we have learned not to see it.
The universe for this child self is safe and huge - but wonderful rather than frightening or overwhelming.
When we connect with this part of our deeper self, we find a place of sheer pleasure and exuberance. A place of exploration, but devoid of competition. A place of wonder, of mystery and fun. This place, if we visit there often enough, if we regain the connection to this lovely part of us, can help keep us young at heart for always. And, this blend of plant essences captures and reflects this place.

 Borage & Lime
Rebalance our tendency to depend on logic for all things, to listen to our heart and intuition alongside the mind
Borage and Lime can bring joy into your world by simply helping you to be connected to all of your senses - you will find real joy in seeing, feeling and interacting with life honestly and holistically
Logic is such a very useful tool, especially in a world where most of us need to interface with technology on a regular basis.
But I think that we inherit an attitude where logic is seen to be the best way of dealing with all aspects of living. And, of course this is not true. It's like saying that the only thing you need in your house hold tool kit is a hammer. Yes, a hammer is a very useful gadget, essential around the home. But I would not want to try to put a plug on a lamp with a hammer.
Using logic exclusively is just as silly, and probably a lot more destructive.
What I have done in combining Borage and Lime (Linden) is to give you two plant essences that together represent all the whole rest of the range of tools that you need for living well.
Some of these are joy in life, enjoyment of each and every moment. The ability to see value in the tiniest of things. The ability to let go and truly be present in the moment.
The strength and bias of this essence blend is to help you be much more aware of your heart self and your intuitive self, and to use these in balance with your logic - allowing you to be more truly yourself, and more truly alive.

 Broom & Butterwort
Helping stimulate our resolve, patience and hidden strengths when facing difficult times that we cannot alter
Broom and Butterwort combine to give you gentle fortitude, a quiet capacity to endure with an underlying strength of steel. One of the characteristics that they bring to this steadfastness is an outward flamboyance that tells the world you are doing brilliantly well in the toughest of circumstances
Difficult times. We all have them. And though what is a tremendous challenge for me may be an exciting joyful experience for you, still we all have times when the flow of events around us is completely outside our control. When it is not the sense of powerlessness, but the reality thereof.
What do you do, keep on going. Putting one foot in front of the other. You manage, because you really do not have much choice in the matter.
Whether your hugest challenge is due to loss, to being trapped by circumstances, or a whole combination of things, there do seem to be some core skills or attributes that can really help us progress through the bad times.
It seems to me that these skills fall into two categories - one to do with how you face the world outside, and the other regarding the time when you are alone.
When facing the world in these circumstances it does seem like a good and positive thing to lie a little - I know you are shocked to hear me say so, as I am known for my candour. But, in really bad times, it is often better to pretend that things will be just fine, are just fine and that you are coping perfectly well. Of course we know this is not totally true, but the better we project this picture, the better we seem to feel.
And, I give you this from years of experience - take another risk. When you are feeling like the worst is upon you, take on something else. I sound mentally deranged, but what you take on is important - it has to be something you can believe in. If you are really brave (and perhaps a little daft) you can make this technique work.
On the internal side of things, the secret is to treat yourself with utmost gentleness, with unconditional love - care for your self as if you were a china doll. From this can grow patience, and wisdom.
Of course if you need a little help along this stony path, Broom and Butterwort could be just the thing.

 Bugle & Red Clover
Stimulating the clarity, courage and motivation that you need to escape the "comfort trap"
Bugle and Red Clover provide the perfect combination of energies to help you get out of your rut - they inject you with an undeniable energy and desire to move, and give to you comfort in yourself to know you can
This essence also will help you with change - when you decide that you simply must stop some pattern of behaviour, or that you cannot stay in that bad place or relationship a moment longer, this essence could really help support you when you make the move.
When you are trying to kick a habit that is self destructive, you need a very special kind of energy. You need motivation from inside, which means that you need to feel that you are worth the hassle and discomfort of going through with the change.
You need to feel connected to the better self that is your potential and had been there in you always, without being too unhappy with the side of you that led you into the habit in the first place.
You also need a touch of courage and hope, because with them you have the vision of improvement that feeds your motivation and makes it all happen and be accomplished before you know it.
When the comfort trap is more than a single bad habit, and implies a life change, like moving, leaving a job, or ending a relationship, then you will need all these elements.
Only you can know when the time is right for you. When you are ready, then this essence could be a very good friend.

 Buttercup & Thrift
Showing us the lesson and values of all our experiences, especially the challenging ones
One of the great compensations for growing up is that you should be learning from your experiences, gaining wisdom, perspective and maturity. But if you are finding that this synthesis and growth is not happening nayurally for you, try Buttercup and Thrift to help you through the transformation
Anyone who knows me will know that in terms of basic self development and growth reflection is my byword. Not because I am particularly clever, it is simply that when you find a key to life that is this simple and this easy, you would be silly not to run with it.
Of course, when I discuss this with a client or friend, it comes as no particular surprise that they should be doing a little more looking back upon their lives. And in particular with a positive and helpful attitude - which allows them to see the lessons that life has been trying to teach them.
Why should we all do this?
Because if we do not learn the lessons the first time, then life throws the same ones at us over and over again until we do get them. Only then can we move on.
You see already why the usual modern western excuse of - we just do not have enough time to do that - simply does not work in this instance.
The only way of stopping a cycle of similar (and often increasingly difficult lessons on a theme) and to recognise them is to pause, and think about what is happening in our lives and considering just what we need to learn, what knowledge will be useful for us in the future.
Then we CAN move forward quite easily.
If you are still not sure that you can do this, that synthesis and transformation are beyond you, then you might like to try Buttercup and Thrift Essence. These two common little plants have some very uncommon and useful energies to share with us.

 Chive & Cowslip
Assisting us into mindfulness - that practice of being wholly here in the moment
Chive and Cowslip help you to let go your stranglehold on life, to release the past and to put down all you future plans, and just be. Here and now, enjoying feeling centred an whole - with a sense of magic to come
I find it very difficult to explain mindfullness using a large number of words. For me, all it is about is being here. Now.
So that your attention is entirely on what you are doing, on what you are reading. Not thinking about what you will do tomorrow, or what you might have for dinner tonight or even whether you said the right thing when you last spoke to your mother.
Mindfullness, is of course an Eastern concept and a gift to us Western sillies so obsessed with bigger and more and tomorrow. But the art of being present was not always a skill that we lacked, for our heritage is just a fine and as colourful as any other part of this world. And pagan people led by their shamans roamed every bit of this lovely planet.
We can learn to be more conscious of now, more appreciative of what we have and thus more in tune with the magic that is life - it takes a bit of determination, and releasing old bad habits. And Chive and Cowslip may help.

 Columbine & Rose
Encouraging our enjoyment of our own body. Helping us to treat that body with love and respect.
Columbine and Rose help you to feel utterly beautiful and content in your physical self. And with that you find a better you - Lighthearted, rejuvenated, accepting and generous
In a society where we have a very strict idea of what is beautiful, acceptable and attractive physically, it is all too easy to dislike, even hate, a part of our body.
This attitude can be the root of many problems, behavioural, emotional and physical.
One of the most destructive and commonest behvioural problems that can be caused by a dislike of out own body is eating disorder. Now, I am not suggesting that dislike of your body is the only thing that is behind an eating disorder, but I have never known anyone who struggled with ne of these problems who loved and accepted their body as it is.
Emotionally, dislike or discomfort in your body can make you feel all sorts of negative things from shame to insecurity - all of them causing you long term problems of relating to other people.
And, physically all of these problems will cause you stress, which will build up as tension in the body, and possibly be the cause of health problems in the future.
Learning to like, accept and then to love and enjoy our bodies is actually a lot easier than you might think. After all, what would we do without them?
The essence Columbine and Rose should be able to help you in this process, as the nature of these two plants include a strong impetus towards self acceptance and enjoyment.

 Comfrey & Fennel
Encourage the capacity for recognising and understanding what your body is trying to tell you.
Comfrey and Fennel can take you to a whole new plane of understanding, where you work with your body, listen to what it says to you and understand. When you live your life in co-operation with your body it is far easier to maintain your health and vitality.
Growing up in the modern Western world, we inevitably are likely to absorb all sorts of assumptions and beliefs without even realising it.
One of the least helpful areas of beliefs that are thought to be fact are around health and our relationship with our own body. The simple fact is that is we have pain or discomfort in some part of our body, that is because our body is trying to tell us something.
Sometimes the message is directly obvious, like when we have sore muscles after unusual activity. Then our body is probably simly telling us that we should have done a little less exercise, or a little slower or waited until we were properly warmed up.
At other times the message that our body is trying to tell us is more obscure. It could be telling us that a particular something or someone in ur life is a real pain in the neck - by giving us a pain in the neck.
Often back pain is associated with your feeling unsupported or insecure, and lower back pain can indicate troubles withy finances or within your family.
But each of us is unique, and it is up to us to learn to listen to and to heed the wisdom and warnings of our body. The essences of Comfrey and Fennel should help you in this goal.

 Daisy & Lady's Bedstraw
Reminding us of our connectedness to the universe, and enhancing this knowledge
Daisy and Lady's Bedstraw work a wonderful magic, allowing you to know and to feel your deep connection to the natural world. Of course you are already a part of it, but how often to do feel at one with nature, and a part of this beautiful planet?
This essence blend is one that is meant to target our more spiritual side, a side of us that is so often forgotten in our busy lives.
We rush around, filling our days with activities, with friends and family and work and it is good.
But, seldom to we pause to listen to the birds sing, or admire a sunset, or smell a rose. And even if we do take that brief moment for appreciation, we seldom take the next step and consider our connectedness to everything and everyone in the world.
It is this sense of being a part of the world, of the universe, in both a pragmatic and a deeper way, that this essence was created to encourage.
Daisy and Ladys Bedstraw combine to help you develop your sense of whole-ness, to feel yourself part of the fabric of nature, an essential component of the ecosystem, and clear in the knowledge that within each of us is stardust.

Forget me Not & Silver Fir
To foster the connection and internal dialogue with subconscious self - so that you can hear your dream voice and intuition
Of course, you know all about the idea of balancing all parts of yourself - mind, body and spirit - But until you are able to actually sense your intuition and remember your dreams this balance in beyond you - Forgetmenot and Silver Fir foster the spirit psyche connection
It is not an oversight on my part that I have combined one of the tiniest and least flamboyant of our garden wild flowers with one of the stateliest trees to come to our shores.
The contrast and the similarities, and complementary energies of these lovely plants speak volumes on the subject of soul and physical integration.
But if we tear ourselves away from the tug of the extremely metaphysical, there are clear and practical reasons why each of us will benefit from having a dialogue between our conscious and subconscious selves.
The process of being aware of our inner and our outer selves is another way of describing personal honesty, and the natural growth and maturing that , ideally, we all do. However, we can get diverted from the natural flow of development so easily by the daily demands of life and family, work and friends.
The essence blend that combines Silver Fir and Forget-me-not can aid us as we find the right way for us to grow and use the linking of our psyche and mind - whether it be through introspection and meditation, or through self expression and creativity - or all of them and more.

 Fuchsia & Marigold
Acceptance of the joys that change, ageing, and circumstance bring - evolving self acceptance
I am sure that you wish for that sense of passion and wonder in life that keeps you from ever feeling jaded or old. True comfort with all change can do this, so that we always feel both renewed and energetic
This essence, like the one above, is useful for many people at many different levels or stages of their growing.
Perhaps the most important aspect of the nature of this essence is that it helps us to accept change. So many of us feel fear and insecurity when faced with even the tiniest change. My darling partner stills hates it when I move the furniture around, even though we have been together for 28 years and are still growing together.
Finding change difficult is sometimes an issue of control, and sometimes an issue of lack of trust for life, it is most often that we fear that we will lose what we have. the daftest thing about the fear of losing what we have is that the more unhappy seen to be in their lives, the more likely they seem to be to fear change. Logically, they would be the ones to embrace change, but then we humans are seldom logical.
So if you would like a little help in your challenge to welcome change and see it as exciting and desirable instead of fearful, then Fuchsia and Marigold may help.
The essence could also be useful when dealing with particular aspects of change that we are finding unwelcome and destabalising - like finding your first silver hair, or having to buy a larger size skirt.
Fuchsia and Marigold can help us with all the issues of continued self acceptance, acceptance of growing older, of changing our focus and values, of changing our activities and goals, and doing all this with comfort.

 Gunnera & Wild Strawberry
Courage to release the past & be present and active in the now, allowing yourself to grow emotionally and spiritually
The main reason that you have trouble letting go of the past (even the bad stuff) is that it means that you will have to do something new - that can be scary. But Gunnera and Wild Strawberry Essence can provide you with all the serenity and determination that you need to open yourdelf to new possibilities.
It takes great courage to face up to the past that we carry around with us, and too many of us underestimate this.
It is easy to forget why we come to carry what I call emotional baggage. The fact is that life very often gives us more challenges, more hurt or more stress than we can comfortably deal with.
Without any conscious thought on our part, our bodies protect us from this overload, by suppressing the intensity of our emotional, psychic and physical response. Sometimes, this mechanism work so efficiently that we actually forget whole chunks of our lives.
Whilst I would never suggest that exploring these memories is fun or easy, it often becomes necessary for us to face up to past hurt and disappointments, so that we are able to put all our energies into the present.
However, gaining the requisite balance of courage and calm, of determination and joyfulness to make this process smoother is not always easy to come by - by the essences of Gunnera and Wild Strawberry may help you.

 Geranium Herb Robert & Pinks
Helping us to recognise the mirror within - where we see our own faults in those around us, and helping us to own those traits
When you see the worst aspects of yourself in people around you, it is because you are not accepting yourself fully - it's time for you to learn to laugh fondly at yourself and enjoy being ALL of who you are
The next time you get very irritated with someone, I mean BIG irritated, but you cannot rationally explain your reaction, take a moment to stop and think about your reaction. Okay, maybe you were just having a dreadful day, are overtired or under too much stress.
Or perhaps, just perhaps, the reason why you all of a sudden loathe this behaviour is because you hate it in yourself. But, you seldom if ever admit that it IS something you do.
Please do not beat yourself up or feel guilty if you recognise this in yourself. After all, very few of us develop the kind of introspection and inner dialogue that allows us to deal with this kind of issue. And virtually none of us learn such spiritually mature functioning at our parents knee.
There is no blame. But, when this occurs it is the perfect chance for you to be brave and accept this very human characteristic in yourself, and use it. Now you know why you hate the behaviour, so if you start being aware when you do it, and stop, then your reaction to others will change too.
Of course I blended Herb Robert and Pinks specifically to help you in this learning process - so you might like to give this essence a try!

 Kingcup & Masterwort
Stimulating our capacity to be the best that we can be - giving, open, caring, and respectful - to a place of good energy flow
Kingcup and Masterwort is the perfect Essence when you are working hard to be the very best you can be, but finding that life keeps giving you one too many setbacks. This essence helps you to release the mindsets and the bad habits that have you fighting with yourself, and with life
This lovely blend of flower essences is a friend for life. No matter how old and wise we become, it is always useful and comforting to know that there is something that can stimulate us on a truly spiritual level.
Much of our lives is dedicated to finding ourselves, then redefining who we are. Finding our lifes work, and doing it as best we can. But the university of life seldom allows us to progress without challenges and upsets, fears and questions.
But we persevere, and do our best and step by step we are becoming the best we can be.
Perhaps this essence will help you to tap into the infinite set of resources that is you, and to go a little deeper, share a little more, learn with renewed enthusiasm, and be more a part of the love energy that is at the core of all things.

 Lady's Mantle & Walnut
Accepting that you are not and cannot be "in control" of others; that people and phenomenon beyond you are just that - BEYOND you
If you have even been labelled an control freak, then this essence is for you. Lady's Mantle and Walnut put you in touch with the movement of the universe and your place in it, allowing you to let other people follow their won path without your interference.
Wanting to be in control is a natural human desire, and it probably arises when we are toddlers and just learning to do things on our own.
However, like so many human instincts, many of us can take this attitude to an extreme that is neither healthy nor socially acceptable - let alone emotionally and spiritually mature.
One of the least attractive or helpful aspects of this need for control, is when we try to control other people. Of course as parents, there is a little conflict here, because parents do need to exert some strong influence over kids when they are young - but even then control is not the ideal.
Of course one of the things that instigates this type of behaviour is outside pressure. We often take control from other people, at home and at work, when we feel that they are not doing something fast enough or well enough. However, more often than not they are simply doing it their way and not ours. We forget to wonder whether their way might not be just as good (even better) than ours.
Whatever your motivation and circumstances, when you decide that you would like to alter this behaviour pattern, and to be in touch with your own personal resources that will make this change easy, the Essence of Ladys Mantle and Walnut may help.

 Lavender & Water Avens
Trusting that our moods, our emotional ups and downs, and our reactions are correct - helping us listen and respond
You have grown up in a society where listening to an "inner voice" was about the same as saying that you are crazy, but of course this is absurd. Whatever label you give it - intuition, heart, spirit, conscious, emotional self - this voice is YOU. Not listening to yourself is a BIG mistake. Lavender and Water Avens Essence helps you to cut through the dross of assumptions, opening you to whatever unfolds.
I think that one of the very least helpful assumptions that most of us in the west were brought up believing as gospel truth is that our emotions get in the way.
In fact, we are presented with dozens, perhaps hundreds, of prejudices and biases that teach us from the time that we are babies NOT to listen to our own hearts, our own instincts and our own intuition.
I find it hard to imagine a less helpful way to raise young people. In effect we are told NOT to trust ourselves.
These attitudes are at the base of so many of our fears of life and commitment, of taking risks small and large.
There are many steps that we can take to erode this mountain of silly prejudice in ourselves. The most obvious one and the one we all use, without even realising it as a tool for change, is to celebrate the times we complete something. Every time we acknowledge our own abilities, pat ourselves on the back for accomplishing some goal (however small), or just recognise that we WERE right to do a particular thing, we take a step away from the prejudice mountain and toward the realisation that we CAN do most anything we want.
The best way to learn to trust is to do so.
And trusting yourself is not risky. After all you can be assured that you ALWAYS do the very best you can, the very best you are able to accomplish and to recognise in EVERY situation. Why would you do anything less?
Lavender and Water Avens are two delightful plants with energies that may be able to help you have confidence in your own instinct, and may make it easier for you to renew your own abilities to sense what is happening around you.

 Lemon Balm & Orchid
Reviving our curiosity and fascination with the magic that is life
You will love Lemon Balm and Orchid essence - it is perfect for those times when you are feeling bla ffor no particular reason. This essence revives your desire to explore and grow and be.
Life is funny sometimes. No matter your age, your experience, your life path - and whether you have found it or not, sometimes we have flat times. Those times when the sparkle goes out of your eye, and no matter how many things you do, you do not receive much of a buzz from them.
This is not exactly jaded, or down, or depressed. It feels as if one of the essential colours of natures palette has be eradicated. It feels like every good idea that you can think of is one you have already tried, at least once.
Somehow life has lost its freshness. Though of course you naturally suspect that it is not life at all, but you who have lost some essential something that made life more perfect, magical, fun and exciting.
Maybe you feel like everything has become too surface, and perhaps you are doing so many things that indeed you cannot really get to the heart and soul of anything.
Maybe your safety zone has become too small, a trap - not quite a rut yet, but all the signs are pointing that way.
And someone asks you what you want to do, with your time, with the rest of your life, after work tonight.
And you do not know, and that is just a little bit scary.
Lemon Balm and Orchid combine in this essence to help you to reach that wee part of you that has become mired over by less important things in your life.

 Marjoram & Peony
Working to help you slow your inner clock, to take time, and to release the need to follow the "hurry, hurry" message of our culture
When you rush about too fast, you don't give yourself time to appreciate anything! Marjoram and Peony help you pause and rekindle your love of life, helping you attract good energy
This issue is one that I think touches us all sometimes. Unless you live is a wee hut, never watch television, never phone or email anyone and avoid the news, we cannot help but be hooked into the hustle and bustle of modern life sometimes.
For most of us, living means having thousands of demands every day, both at work and at home.
There is little time for peace, for moments of stillness and to silly appreciate this wonderful world.
We all know that, in terms of our physical and mental health, we should slow down. But doing so is not easy. And few, if any, of us have a role model that shows us how to have a full life and slow down too. It is possible, and it is really wonderful. When you are ready to give it a try, Marjoram and Rosemary essence could help.

 Periwinkle & Sycamore
Attunement to nature voices, to the call of the sea, rhythms of seasons, animal languages
This essence was created to spur you on into uncharted territory, opening the door into the world of the white lady and green man. So if the wild magic of nature attracts you, then allow yourself to open the door on a forgotten mystery of life...
I created this essence blend not to help us with a particular challenge or difficult situation in life - but to offer a challenge and a gift.
In fact I suspect that it was not me who can take responsibility at all - but the outgoing natures of periwinkle and sycamore.
They simply wanted to be heard, and be available to be used.
This essence has many strengths -
It challenges us to open our eyes and to see more than we have ever dared to see.
And to take risks with the abandon of a sprite or nature spirit, leaving aside all the silly human responses and responsibilities that our patterns of behaviour are shaped by.
These two lovely plants are emblems of green magic, and they offer themselves as inspiration and helper - if you like.

 Quince & Sweet Chestnut
Sharpening of the senses, heightening and tuning our energy so that we hear and see better on all spirit levels
Quince and Sweet Chestnut combine to stimulate your energy on a very refined level - Heightening spiritual awareness and your ability to see deeper
This essence is for anyone who feels that they would like to heighten their perceptions.
So it could be useful for people who feel disconnected with the world, oblivious to what is around them. This could be those people who simply do not notice the furnishings and decor or their homes, or someone who is so very focused on their own activities and demands that they do not hear other people very well.
It could also be useful for people who are beginning to do some self development and self discovery courses or reading, and wish to stimulate their latent abilities and intuition.
Or it could be useful for people who are well on their spiritual path, and ever wishing to grow and to learn, to strive toward their highest potential.

 Ragged Robin & Stock
Acceptance of "right time"; connection to our own natural spirit - recognition of our link to gaia
Once you start to live with the idea that everything is happening perfectly and at the right time, your horizons wider into of infinite possibility, Ragged Robin and Stock Essence is the perfect catalyst to help you begin
One of the very best ways that I have found to combat the urgent voice telling me to hurry or it will all be too late is to accept that this time is the perfect time to be doing what I am doing.
Like so many simple ways of working with nature or the universe or whatever you name it, this bit of wisdom is very easy to talk about and rather more difficult to accept into our lives.
Every time we manage to stay calm, and truly enjoy doing what we are doing right now, something or someone reminds us of the eighteen other things that need to be accomplished. Now.
It is that pressure of fitting things in NOW that is the real killer. It can work us into a frenzy of activity, and so often in this state we are incapable of completing anything well, let alone with enjoyment.
But if we can learn the mantra - now is the perfect time to do what I am doing - then we can begin to slow the compulsion to do everything at once.
If you find that you need a little help with this particular issue, then Ragged Robin and Stock essence may be just what you need to make the change a little easier to accomplish.

 Rosemary & Sage
Helping you to keep your vision or focus in a crisis or through challenging times, keeping your thread, your direction
You are bound to find times in your life when everything that could go wrong seems happen at the same time, or your challenges extend into months. Rosemary and sage Essence support you in these times - renewing your vision and energy
This is one of those essences that simply helps you in a particular situation - where you are fighting a bit of a battle, and wish to have something as a reliable friend just to keep you doing just what you need to be doing.
For instance, if you find yourself in the middle of a huge project like extending your home, raising a child or writing a book, or doing most anything at work that is part of a large and ongoing programme, there will be plenty of times when it will be hard to keep your initial goals in mind.
I do not mean to imply that things do not change and should not be modified, for that is often essential. However, in the midst of a hundred demands on our attention, we can sometimes become too distracted. We can lose our thread, our concentration or our initial vision. If we lose this, then we can get very bogged down and discouraged, even end up feeling lost and a bit helpless.
It is at these times when we most need to find clarity. Often we need our energies buoyed up, so that we can keep on doing and saying what we need to do and say to keep on progressing.
Rosemary and Sage are two wonderful herbs whose energy can be very useful to us in these sort of circumstances, and their energies are captured in their essence.
